They made invisible object in 3 dimensions!!!

A major scientific step in the development of technology "invisibility", did researchers at the University of Texas. Using a revolutionary new kind of materials, metamaterials plasmons as
named, managed to make an object invisible, and even in three dimensions!
This is a cylindrical tube of length 18 cm, which makes akomx most important achievement to date as most antimeimeno who had "disappeared" in the laboratory was a connector.

Those, however, waiting to see what happens in films ... Harry Potter will be disappointed after ca time tube "disappears" only part of the microwave spectrum of electromagnetic radiation and not the wavelength that is visible to the human eye.How do plasmons metamaterials

The plasmons metamaterials, which allowed the researchers to realize the particular mantle is a mixture of metals and non-conductive synthetic material. They consist of tiny nanostructures which are significantly smaller than the wavelength of light that falls upon them. The significantly shorter wavelength nanostructures helps plasmons metamaterials to manipulate light "kampylonontas" it around objects or to "neutralize" completely reflection.

The reason for this to succeed without being able to capture the human eye is that it only happens at lower frequencies the spectrum of light. The next goal of scientists is to create a "cloak" invisibility that works in visible light-that is perceived by the eye.
